I have the problem with connecting with other computers,
using windows2000, in my local network. Since we have
installed the printer in the windows2000 computer and
share it. However, I don't know how to use it since I
cannot connect with this computer. When I click it, it
needs a passwd to connect but in fact no passwd is set in
this computer. Someone said win98 cannot see amy data in
    windows2000, right , becausse of fat32 problem..

  2. First, the file system in use doesn't matter. The file system on each PC
doesn't matter since the PC itself reads that data and puts it onto the
    network.

As for the password issue, on the Windows 2000 computer, go into Control
Panel and open up the Users tool. Add a user with the same name (and
password, if one) used to start up the Windows 98 computer. That should
    eliminate the password request.
