Installed RH9 on Two machines, simple client/server socket program
works on one machine without any problem, but on the other machine, it
is not working (when the client tries to connect server, I am getting
"broken pipe" message), any idea, what was the reason?.

Thanks in advance for any kind of clue.

Can you explain little more with the error message?

Normally, the broken pipe error occurs when the client/server (either
of them) of the TCP socket closes connection or gets killed. But then
the other end still tries to write to it.

Did you try with localhost first?
