Is there any good reason the new AC family of routers seem to cost double what a decent N router does-- other than the manufacturers and retailers figure folk are willing to pay it? And don't tell me about engineering development or component costs...
I remember back in the 1970,s a scientific calculator from a major USA manufacturer cost ~$300 but manufacturing costs were ~$5:00. As you suggest its what people are prepared to pay!.
