    Hi!

Does anyone know where I can get a free (simple) copy of a remote
terminal for Windows 2000 so I can connect to my RedHat 9.0 using
    Xwin?

I can do the telenet thing but I want to use XWin.

    Thanks

  2. Use SSH with Xforwarding. Then use Cygwin Xfree86 for the client side
Xserver (http://cygwin.com/xfree/) Make sure to add the remote host using:

    xhost +<hostname>

Otherwise, if you want the "pcAnywhere" like functionality, use TightVNC.

I use ZOC terminal to ssh in and set my vncserver parameters. Then I
exit from there, and run the VNCviewer for win32, available from RH.
Works great as a remote terminal, fast and thorough.
