Network without cable connection or without modem.

  1. Hi,

I may be seem absurd, but is there a possibility that a desktop system
in house can be networked to other systems around world..i.e.internet
without cable connection or without modem ?

    Regards
    Gopal

  2. Sure, you can use DSL, wireless, satellite, run fiber to your neighbor's
    house, get a T1....

but in the end you still need to buy some kind of a connection.

No it's not possible. You must have some connection, though it could be
    wireless.
