Netsh WINS scripting

Discussion in 'Windows Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?TWFuYXRhcm16?=, Apr 16, 2004.

  1. Hi

I'm trying to write a batch file for Windows 2000 clients. This is to set both primary and secondary WINS server IP addresses. I am able to set the primary server, but don't know the syntax for the secondary

    Anyone know the syntax??

  2. Hi,

If I understand your question, then you are using the "set wins" netsh
command to set the WINS address. After this you can do an "add wins" to
add more addresses to the interface.

    Thank you,
