    Hi all;

    Just upgraded from an 802.11b wireless router to 802.11g (both Linksys).
    Am noticing increased wireless transmission speeds with the -g, which is
    broadcasting in both -b and -g frequencies.

    Was wondering if there's a way to use the old -b router to act as a
    "repeater" to pick up and extend the -g's wireless range (albeit at -b
    speeds).

    Thanks!

    Interesting question

    I'd say no, cause isn't the difference based on hardware and the wireless
    frequencies?
