    Hi,

found an old MN720 PCMCIA wireless adapter card doing some basement cleanup
and I'm trying to install into an IBM ThinkPad T42. I no longer use the MSBN
    base station.

    1) Would the MN720 work without the base station (I'm using a linksys), and
    2) where can I locate the install drivers for the adapter (the MSBN update
software doesn't have drivers for the adapter it appears - or the adapter can
only be updated via the base station)

    thanks!

Yes, it will work without the base station.
it is probably somewhere inside the
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=33104 exe. try opening it
with winrar and extracting the MSI and looking for the driver
