Microsoft Broadband Home Wireless Network No Longer Secure

Two days ago, I noticed that my Microsoft Broadband Home Wireless Network
noted 'Unsecure' connection. It had been secure since I purchased it 5+ years
ago, secure with a 26 character alpha numeric 'Wireless security (WEP) key'.
When I accessed the Microsoft Broadband Network Utility / Network Status
window, it noted 'connection speed - not connected' [when in fact it was,
    though without a WEP code/key]. 'Workgroup: 'my network's name[confidential]
    - You are not connected to your network.'
When I tried to access 'Management Tool' under 'Tools', it was 'grayed out'
    and inaccessible.
Can you tell me if I can reset the wireless network with the same or
different WEP code/key? OR can I uninstall the Microsoft Broadband Home
Wireless Network application and reinstall it?
    Thank you.

WEP is not safe. log into it with a wired connection 192.168.2.1
    default password is

    admin

    configure WPA

you do not need the Microsoft software

the MN700 is no longer supported by Microsoft. My best advice is to
get a NEW router so that you have the security needed - WPA2.
