can't get this card to be recognized by win\me-have other
computers with this card and it was recognized on them-
this mboard(ecs matx-800mhz-viac3) does have an on board
lan that does work-i don't want to use it though because
of location. the drivers for the board appear to load and

I am not sure if this will help you or not but give it a
try. Linksys has several versions for their NIC cards, ver
2, ver 2.1, ver4.1 etc., etc... If you do not have the
driver for the specific version Windows ME does not
recognize it. You can go to the Lynksys web site and
download the drivers or go to a site called DriverGuide??
which is the "poor mans" place to get drivers for older
    stuff. Good luck.
