I have Small Business Server 2003 and am trying to change
my terminal services from Remote Desktop mode to Terminal
Server mode. But when I go into add/remove programs I
don't have a windows component for terminal server. The
only thing I can find is that you can't do Terminal Server
mode in the web edition version of 2003 server and was
wondering if this was the case with 2003 SBS

  2. Hi,

Both Web Edition and SBS do not allow TS in App mode. Doesn't make SBS a
version of Web. (It's not allowed for security and performance reasons)

You can still put a regular Windows Server into the domain (as a member) and
run TS in App Mode on that
