Help! Can't find model of 10/100 PCI network card!

Discussion in 'Windows Networking' started by Scott Kennedy, Sep 7, 2003.

  1. I'm having a great deal of difficulty finding out what
model network card I have. It was a gift from a friend,
who also doesn't know, and I've tried googling various
numbers off the card itself. Windows knows it is a
network card, but doesn't know what driver to install, and
can't find it through Automatic Windows Update (it is card
    #2 in this PC).

Any suggestions for determining the make/model of this
    beast will be most appreciated!

    Thanks :)

  2. If you know the card's MAC address, go here:

If it's an ISA card, try installing it as NE2000 compatible.

How much is your time worth to try to get the card working? You can
buy a new PCI network card for $5-10 at a large office supply or
    computer store.
