My computer is wired to a wireless router. My e-mail was working fine until
I changed the wireless security settings. Now I can't check one of my POP3
accounts, and can't send mail from the SMTP of another. The error I get is
0x800CCC0F, which is a firewall problem.

Any ideas? I am running WinXP Pro.

Can you do any other things related to accessing the Internet?

You said your computer is WIRED to a wireless router. That means it is not
related to the wireless part of the router.

Everything else works ok. And I can SMTP from the account I can't POP and
    vice versa.

e-Mail was working fine before I changed the SSID and wireless
limit access to one wireless adapter. That caused probems with e-mail.

You run norton antivirus? Seen alot of people complaining about email
    problems with that of late.

I had problems as well. No matter what I did it would download half of the
first email in my box and never complete. Even disabling email totally it
seemed norton was scanning it anyway. As usual Symantec tech support was
useless. I uninstalled and reinstalled and had the same problem.
