I have wireless network set up consisting of 1 win2k
advanced server machine with a wireless nic, DNS set up &
TCP/IP. This is my domain controller. The second machine
is a laptop with a pcmcia wireless nic card, this has xp
installed and communicates with my domain controller fine.
I use an access point to gain connectivity between the
three machines, it is a d-link dwl 900+. The problem lies
with my third machine, this is running windows 98 se and
is hard wired into the access point, all my protocols are
set up correctly, my dc is running in mixed mode, and I am
using an account that enables pre-windows 2000
compatability to logon, however, each time I attempt to
logon to the domain winth my win98 machine I get the
following message 'No Domain Server was available to
authenticate your password, you may not have access to
some domain resources'. I then click ok and the machine
continues to load. I can ping all of the other p.c's on
the domain, but as the message states I can't access the
files. I am at my wits end, I contacted d-link who said
it wasn't an access point problem but a microsoft problem,
the knowledge base doesn't seem to hold any clues, can
anyone please please help me with this.
    Thanks in advance
