excellent connection, then lost, then good, then lost....

    I've got a Cisco pcmcia adapter and everything seems
    setup correctly on the laptop. But the concection to the
    base station cycles every 20 seconds or so between
    excellent connection, and no connection. (excellent
    signal, and no signal. I have been on the internet
    through this connection, so I know it's hooked up right.
    I've got another another machine that connects fine and
    keeps a connection (maintains an excellent signal in my
    house).

    Any ideas? thanks

    make sure the router and card use same channel

    Could also be interference. Try using a different channel
