    Hi all,

i have a question regarding my primary/secondary dns servers.
i traced network traffic of port 53 and i have about 8-10 Mb traffic
    per day,
that would say about 300 Mb per month.
i try to find out if there is a way to reduce this traffic.
i have seen in my logs a huge amount of messages coming in like
"Jun 27 13:01:00 xxxx named[22674]: lame server resolving
    '245.14.31.200.in-addr.arpa' (in '14.31.200.in-addr.arpa'?):
    200.0.194.46#53"
    with much different ips
and every time i got this message my traffic rises.

    My questions:
Is "lame server resolving" an error in the config of my
    dns-servers?
Can I get rid of this queries or reduce this amount?

If you need my named.conf let me know.
    (I use RedHat 7.3 with Bind 9.2.0)

    Regards Wolf
