Custom Network Racks

    Hi,
    I am Junior network engineer at a company in Toronto. I just want info regarding racks. We have a very small room for keeping our networking equipment. We use CISCO products. There are racks available for these products in the market. The thing is we do not have much space. So, we have decided to go with custom racks. I found this company in Toronto who provides custom metal parts provider called Bayview Metals. I would like to know what are the things that I should be careful while getting the racks manufactured. I have to give a structure by next week. I am also concerned about the cooling. I read that people use extra fans on the racks to provide more cooling. Do they really work?
