    Hi,

I am facing an issue while trying to use channel bonding with jumbo
frame support. My system description is as follows -

    - linux kernel version - 2.4.22
    - It has a dualport Intel e1000 NIC card.

I have enabled link aggregation on these interface ( bonding mode = 4
). And the bond interface seems to work fine.

I was able to enable jumbo frames (MTU - 9000) on the slave interfaces.
But am not able to enable jumbo frams on master (bond0) interface.

When I try to set jumbo frames on the master, I get following error -

root> ip link set dev bond0 mtu 9000
    SIOCSIFMTU: Invalid argument
    root>

Has anyone faced a similar issue ? Can this be a switch related issue,
even though the MTU can be set to 9000 for the slave interfaces ?

Please let me know your thoughts on the same.

    -Thanks
