    Hi,

Just had to install a new NIC on a win 98 machine. This machine connects
to a windows 2000 server. After the install....I cannot map network drives.
I can ping all machines including server...use my internet through my
router. Also can browse files on shared drives....but cant map to them.

Any clues as to why this is happening?

    Yes file sharing is enabled

    tcp/ip connection

Thanks in advance for any help

I just setup my network. Found a Network Setup for
Dummies. Go to www.helmig.com, select step by step and
pick the one for networking. It has all the steps from the
    beginning.
