    I have an unusual situation.

I have three computers. One is a Win2003 Server which is configured as a
    Domain Controller. (location.local)

    I have two vista PCs.

One seems to be working ok, the second however is showing some rather odd
    connection issues.

When I log on to the domain on the PC the event log gets the event ' There
are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.' This
    always occurs.

I can ping the Win2003 Server using either its domain name, or its IP
address. I can also browse the network and can see the server. When I dlb
click on the server computer in 'my network' it then asks me for my user
name and password. I am then able to enter my details and get access to the

I am running DHCP,DNS and WINS on the server. When checking out the
allocations/assignments on each of those I can see that the VistaPC is able
to register itself and get its IP address etc.

Doing a IPCONFIG /all on the Vista PC I can see the address for all the
    items are correct.

I have also switched from a wireless adapter to a wired adapter (my machine
has both) and see if there is a difference. (I disable the adapter not in

What else can I do to get my Vista PC to be able to logon properly....
