Avoid user answer 'NO' where or not to reconnect to the network dr

Discussion in 'Windows Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?YW5keQ==?=, Mar 17, 2005.

  1. Dear All,
When starting a workstation with no server is available, the originally
mapped network drive may loss, and the o/s will ask user 'Yes' or 'No' to
keep mapping network drive when next time system boot up. How to avoid user
answer 'NO' to this question, or just prevent o/s prompt for this question.
    Thanks.

.... Or maybe just check what's changed in the registry when someone answers
'NO', and change that back at next boot ?

someone might have a direct answer ...but what i do is use a batch file to
    map drives at startup ...

even if they say no ...the bat will still run and try to map the drives
