5 users on 4 ports?

    My problem is this: I have an ADSL router with 4 ports and I want to connect
    5 users is this possible at all with or without additional hardware?

    Yes, Just add a second NIC (network card) to one of the four units. Connect
    a 'crossover cable' over to the 5th unit. Enable 'internet connection
    sharing'.

    Or (IMHO ... better yet) get a cheap 4 or 5 port switch to expand your current 4
    ports to 6 or 7 (1 port on the router and one on the switch are needed to
    connect them together.) Pricewatch says: $12 for a D-Link 10/100 5Port Switch.

    I agree Ron. That would be MY 1st choice, but it sounded like he was trying
    to avoid that (for whatever reason).
