Hi all,

I keep getting dropouts on the wireless LAN connection every
few seconds, even if the G260 USB wifi adapter is on a PC in
in the same room as the modem/router, and no matter what channel
is used.
Firmware in the HW660 has been updated to latest, as has the
driver for the G260. I have no other wireless stuff in the house
and next door is empty at the moment.
The problem seems to be with the G260 USB wifi adapter -
the blue light keeps going out, then comes back on an the
connection re-establishes itself.
Is this likely to be faulty kit, are G260s known to be crap, or
am I missing a setting somewhere? I've tried with g+ (125Mbps)
both off and on.
Zyxel site and google haven't come up with much.

Cheers,
--
Rob

I wonder if it has something to do with the current drain on the USB
port (either the adaptor drawing too much or the port supplying too
little).

Good thinking! I'll check by trying it on a powered hub.
