I'm thinking of buying the Zoom X4 Modem.
Anyone got any good or bad thing to say about this model?

its not bad at all but does not support the opening of port ranges but does
allow single ports to be opened etc

Works well. If one Ethernet and one USB is sufficient, then it's fine.

though you can add a switch or hub for more connections up to 255 machines!

got a hub on mine and all is fine, running up to 3 or 4 machines at once.
i would recommend : simple to use / & easy setup compared to some others i
have seen.
comes with a 2 year warranty.

On a typical broadband connection, is there much difference in speed between
the USB connection and the Ethernet connection?
