Hi - I have the above.

Can now make the ethernet zoom modem + BTY work (thanks to this newsgroup) ,
problem is getting reliable wireless connection with Linksys (wap54g)
wireless access point.

Network Stumbler says signal is very good, I think I am using correct WEP
key. But when I plug ethernet cable from zoom modem (x3) into wap54g I can
usually not get a connection. When I do it is very, very slow.

I had all this working perfectly in previous house with Telewest (please
come and dig up our road) Linksys router and wap54g. Am I doing something
wrong, are there special settings I need to add to the zoom modem.. or
what????

Any help appreciated.

Regards

Andrew

I has a Zoom modem/router/switch and it was a disaster. In the end I returned it, got
a refund and bounght a Linksys modem/router/switch/firewall. I would guess that the
Zoom you've got is the problem - can you borrow a replacement from a friend to test
this out?
