Zone Alarm causes problems for network

I have found that after deleting the various protection programmes one by
one to find which one is causing access problems it would appear that Zone
Alarm is the culprit. By shutting down on Zone Alarm on both PCs I can
reconnect the network. I then tried to see what in Zone Alarm could cause
this but after altering the settings that may be causing I have still failed
if I use Zone Alarm.
Is there some setting that could cause this lack of access?
Blair
