I have a Xircom Realport Card (model REM56G-100).
Whenever I try to install it, it recognizes it as
a "Standard PCMCIA card modem" and I can't use the network
feature. This used to not be a problem, but I am in
Switzerland now and the only internet I have is ethernet.
I installed it once and I remember installing it as Xircom
Realport Multi-Function PC card parent , then ethernet
interface and modem interface windows popped up. I
installed some other software and then the driver
uninstalled. Xircom was bought by Intel and there is no
support there, and Dell drivers don't work, so I hope you
can help.
FYI... I am using a Dell Latitude CP with 128 MB of RAM,
a 4 GB HDD, and an Intel Pentium 2 233 MHZ processer with
MMX.
If there is any way to update the driver database that
would be helpful also.
Thanks for your help,
G. Beaucage
