Hi,

I am currently on the 512k Zen service and find the quality of the
connection excellant. The quality of the usenet server is different so I
subscribe to usenetserver.com.

although i am happy with the connection - I was wondering weather it would
be worth migrating to Nildrams dslSurf500 package to save myself a fiver /
month (money's tight!)

I presume this has uncapped downloads from third party newsservers? Not
worried about email as I use msn and not worried about static IP's as I dont
host anything.

Cheers

Probably, but you would lose your /29 subnet.

Hes talking about your subnet of 5 IP addresses, thats assuming you
opted for them. Zen is the only home provider which wont charge you
extra for this (that I know of), many wont provide it to home users at
all.

If you dont need more than 1 address or are happy messing with all the
NAT cr*p then fine, go ahead. For me I'd rather have the subnet.
