Hi,

Getting adsl 1mbit for my new house..

Should I go with Zen (Benefits 8 ip addresses free downside 39.99 a month 58
quid setup fee)

Or should I go with F2S (Benefits 35 quid a month and only 35 quid setup
downside no ips given)

I could do with the IPS to play with DMZ and stuff for a mail and web server
you see

I need the speed as I am a heavy downloader from emule and newsgroups

What do you lot think

Wrong 22.99 connection+ 5 IP's 5.00+1Mb 5.00 around 35 quid in total
Zen DON'T give you 5 free Ip's Zen is 29.99 whether you take the IP's
or not F2S is only 22.99+ 5.00 for 1Mb without the IP's and a much
better service in my opinion .
Grant .

When I looked at http://www.freedom2surf.net/adsl/power.php it
looks to be 29.99 +VAT setup and 29.99 +VAT a month for 1 Mbps.

(If I'm not within the first 500 signing up, the setup would
be double that 29.99 - but most others are under 59 inc VAT!)

How long since you were on Zen?

Agreed approx 35.00 connection but they are only charging me 29.99
INCLUSIVE of VAT here you are quoting the POWER charges when I signed
up for the 1Mbps they also had another deal on the site for home users
which seems to have vanished now . The power charges have been thee
for some time and why I never bothered upgrading to 1 Mbps until now.

This statement has been on the site also for quite some time now also.

Less than four months but was with F2S before moving to Zen which I
regretted doing with in the first two weeks of moving to Zen and why I
have moved back to F2S .

I've been with Zen for 2+ years and have had perfect connection speeds for
nearly all of that time. There was a month or so when they had speed
problems, but installation of new central pipes solved the speed issues.

What problems did you have with Zen?

Hi,

They've never had a Pure IP Home 1MB Product, the 1MB power user
product prior to September when it was launched in March however was
DataStream based rather than IPStream based how it is now, which was
priced at £39.99 p/m inc VAT with £59.99+VAT Connection, whereas
currentley it's £35.24 inc VAT with the same price for connection.

Kind Regards,
