Looks like they are very price competitive with Demon who I normally use -
but we're looking at a difference of £120 per month.

Are Zen ok for the 2MB business service?

Thanks,

Kev

Yes (IMO), but why stop at 2Mb? Go for a Max product.

However you can get more for less off an entanet reseller (which I'm
thinking of jumping ship to)

I was thinking about moving from Demon to Zen but the cost was too
high for the same service.

I mean for the service level that I require and use.

So I take it that although the 2MB service looks similar they would not be
of the same quality?

I was considering a move a few months ago when Demon had an email
problem and did not keep their users informed of progress. However Zen
Office 2000 is more than twice the price of the Demon Business 2000 so
I decided to stay with Demon.

Ahhh - interesting.

The sales guy pointed me at Business Premier - you've pointed me at

http://www.demon.net/demon/products/...nessbroadband/

which, as you say, is cheaper. If this is the equivalent of Zen's service
then it is much cheaper.

Thanks,

Kevin

I hear they're very good but you should look at IDNet too. A very similar
provider with slightly more competitive pricing.

Fair to say it's also only worth looking at primary ISP's with their own
Tier1 interconnects and peering, rather than resellers, if you want a
quality service.
