I use Zen's 'Broadband Usage Checker', works fine, requires .net (or is it
..framework - anyhow, ite tells you.).

if it appears in the status bar at all - rightclick - -settings will change
the login

No, it doesn't get beyond saying that I have entered an incorrect Login
or Password, just as some others have found.

I'm glad for you. But there is clearly a bug, which others have
identified, and Zen appear to be uninterested in fixing it.

If you look on
http://support.zen.co.uk/kb/Knowledg...rticleid=10808
It will tell you of the known problem and how to re-enter your login
details (near the bottom of the page) which apparently resolves the
issue.
To see the "status bar" on current versions of FireFox, enable the
Add-on bar from the View->Toolbars submenu, or under options if you've
collapsed the menu bar.
Once that is visible, you'll see the zen add-on in the bottom right
corner of the browser, and can right click on it to select "settings"
where you can re-enter the login details.
It is the details you use for logging in to the customer portal that
you need to enter, not the details that you enter into your router to
connect to zen through adsl.

I've just checked all this using FireFox v 8.0, and it works fine for
me.

So you bring up the status bar (now called the add-on bar) to make it
visible.

In fact, as I had uninstalled it, since it wasn't working, I just now
re-installed it so that I could follow your (and Zen's) advice, and
this time it came up and offered me the opportunity to enter the
correct information, and it works. So thanks for the help, even though
I didn't need it.
