Hi,

It occured to me that after launching the NIS master server,
"/etc/init.d/ypbind start" on client machines did _not_ make NIS fully
functional. E.g., I could not log onto the client machine with a userid defined
on the NIS master. It worked only after a reboot of the client machine.

I'm using RH Linux 9 with its NIS package.

Has this happen to anyone before?

Thanks,
Wei
