Yankee Group Research announced its acquisition of Trendsmedia
Friday.Trendsmedia is an integrated media firm serving emerging
technology markets, and it produces the WiMAX World wireless-broadband
trade show.
"Our acquisition of Trendsmedia is based on the two firms' shared
vision for providing enterprises with the highest-quality counsel in
connectivity issues," Yankee Group CEO Emily Nagle Green said in a
prepared statement.
"This is the first acquisition in Yankee Group's history, and
we're very excited to welcome Trendsmedia to our team," she added.
"Together, we will help our clients to navigate the connectivity
