Can anyone tell me what ports yahoo messengers is taking. I want to block in
our firwall so that noone can chat.

Please reply me urgent..

I don't think it's one port - this stuff can be hard to block If you allow
only outbound port 80 and 443 (and 110 if people use POP mail), etc., you
may be fine...have you tried that?

Hi Daljit,

Since Yahoo uses (or can use) port 80 I guess best way to go about this is
to block access to *.msg.yahoo.com as destination...

I hope this helps you out...
