XP Vaio Question

As I travel the preffered network connections list in the wireless network
properties keeps growing. I am not seeing degradation in the connection but
am curious as to the growing list of the following:

lylecommercial1, (starbucks, weak connection)
concourse, (Minneapolis Airport, great signal)
wayport, (???)
netgear, (home)

do I leave the list alone, highlight certain ones, etc.
