PPOE logon information should be stored in the DSL modem itself.
Logon to the modem through a web browser e.g.
http://192.168.1.1
default logon is Username: Admin Password: 1234 for most dsl modems
Use the wizard to configure the modem.
verify your logon information with your ISP
Check the Status tab on the modem config page...and see if it can connect.
Your Internet explorer is supposed to be on "always on" setting.
Sounds like you reset the modem and lost your logon settings that were saved
when you first set it up using a cd that your ISP gave you.\
