Good Day

I am at a bit of a loss here as to what I should do to get my laptop to
connect. IBM Thinkpad R40 connected with no issues prior to updating to SP3.
I now can see my wireless network - full power enter correct key for
security but it won't connect. I can however conect to my neigbors unsecured
wireless network. It has me stumped. I can connect to my wireless with 2
other laptops I have but not this particular one...

TIA

Find the chip set for your NIC and see if there is an updated driver for Windows SP3.
Many of the wireless NIC card have had trouble with a common dll file that Microsoft changed in SP3.

Hi
Log to the Router and disable the security.
If you can connect enable the security again and choose a new pass phrase.
Update the pass phrase in the computer thereafter.
