Xp pro log in takes to long

Hi every one i got win 2003 and 5 xp pro the log in time takes about 5 min any help please

If win 2003 server is not set up as domain controller, but as workgroup,
and if on XP-Pro you donor have service packs installed, then
install latest service packs on XP-Pro.
(Note: If win 2003 is a domain controller, then no need to install service
pack on XP clients, cause I have win 2003 domain controller, and
XP clients w/o SP, no any problem. SP helps only if there is no domain
controller.)

If it is a domain controller, make sure the clients have the DC IP
address set as their DNS server.
