I upgraded the Win 2003 server to Win 2008 server. I used the sam
domain & created the same users in the new servers. However, my XP Pr
client cannot logon the Windows 2008 server. I used a different compute
that has never connected to the old server, then it would connec
without any problem.

Somehow, it still memorized the old server for the XP client used t
connect to the old server. I try to reconnect it using Networ
Identification wizard without success! Anyone has suggestions that I ca
try

How did you upgarde windows 2003 DC to 2008 DC? If you didn't do migrate
correctly, you may need to reset to workgroup first and re-join the domain.
Please post back with the result.

I did a fresh installation of Win2008 with AD DC. The problem was when I
tried to join the domain of the new server somehow it failed. Did you
mean I needed to join the workgroup first. This would help me clean up
the memory. Then join the domain of the new server.
