XP - Private Folder

Trying to sort out a problem with viewing files on the network I have
been viewing various Folder options.

I have administrator privilidges on my user account but when I go in
to any Folder share tab the option to make this folder Private is
greyed out.

At the moment I cannot figure out how to make a folder private, anyone
point me in the right direction please?

Do you need to disable Simple File Sharing? Probably something like
that, dunno.

I can't even find that function in My Computer, Tools, Folder Options,
View; which is where it is supposed to be.
