XP machines lose "trust" to Windows Server 2003

I have a small home network setup that consist of the following:
(1) Windows Server 2003 set up as the PDC with all service packs and updates
(2) XP machines
Connected by (1) Linksys 4 port router (BEFSR41).

I have successfully joined both XP machines to the Domain and can connect at
login and browse the server shares.

The problem occurs after a period of time (maybe an hour after logging into
the server) is as follows.

When I try to access the server I get a logon box (when I first login I
don't get this). When I enter the same username and password I get the
following message:

Logon Unsuccessful

The user name you typed is the same as the user name you logged in with.
That username has already been tried.
A domain controller cannot be found to verify that user name.

I checked the server log and see this error (I get the same message for each
of the two machines):

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NETLOGON
Event Category: None
Event ID: 5513
Date: 4/18/2004
Time: 4:34:40 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER
Description:
The computer ANTEC tried to connect to the server \\SERVER
using the trust relationship established by the VLEET domain.
However, the computer lost the correct security identifier (SID)
when the domain was reconfigured. Reestablish the trust relationship.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

If I log off and log back in, I can connect to the server and see everything
fine.

Anyone have any ideas on what is causing this "timeout"?

I looked everywhere but didn't find any help.

Thanks

Ryan

Make sure that your Windows 2003 Domain controller has updated the SRV records on the DNS server that owns the domain name zone.
Also make sure that the XP boxes are pointing to the same DNS server as the Win 2003 DC and not the ISP.

Check the following KB for more information:
