Hello,
one of our high level managers has a new ASUS notebook - its very small and
came with XP home edition. Is there any way to connect this to our domain so
he can use it in the office?

thanks in advance

Try and get hold of an upgrade to XP pro, if they are still available???
Otherwise this will prove a bad purchase, Home edition can map drives and
printers etc but will inevitably continue to cause you headaches, it is
definitely not a good idea on a corporate network. Sorry to sound pesamistic
but thats the reality.

I think if you can buy an Open License copy of Vista you get downgrade
rights (and maybe can download XP Pro from eOpen site)
