I have a Linksys 54g 4 port router and a Linksys pcmcia card 54g for the
laptop. The conection drops at least once a day and I have tried diabling
the wireless zero config service and then I cannot connect at all the system
says no wireless netwroks available. Any help would be appreciated. I have
tried reloading the Linksys driver with the service disabled and I get the
same result.

Thanks in advance

Steve

I had problems with my adsl dropping out. Initially not so bad but got
worse. Turned out to be the phone company (BT in mycase) they fixed it. OK
now.

This is part of the problem. When I disable wireless zero config then the
system reports there are no wireless networks available as soon as I start
the service then the wireless network becomes available. I have disabled
the service and reinstalled the Linksys drivers with the same result. "No
wireless Networks Available"
I really need to solve this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are two settings: one is the WZ service, the second is the check
box "Let Windows Manage this Connection" which should be unchecked.
