If this is being done via group policy (probably a pw-protected screensaver
after X minutes of idle time), either change it for everyone on the server,
or move these computers to an OU that isn't linked to this policy. Hard to
say more without knowing where this GP is being applied...

Hi Haroon,

This is local to each machine. You can use GP to change
their settings or go to each machine and edit the display
setting / screen saver.

Dear Michael,

Is this the default behaviour of Windows, because there is no screen saver
enabled for the users on the PC's.

However please tell me how should i configure the GPO on my AD to disable
this automatic locking of workstations.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Click start / run: gpedit.msc. Under Local Computer Policy, expand User
Configuration, expand Administrative Templates, expand control panel,
expand display.

Hi,

I have seen that but there is no screen saver enabled. I dont know why
screen saver is being mentioned here. The clients get automatically locked
exactly likes when you lock your machine yourself.

The default setting is Windows XP screen saver on resume, password
protect after 10 minutes. There is no other process which locks the screen
automatically in such a way. It is a display property setting.
