XP Client Problem with 2003 Server

I have one of my XP clients that has a problem with
Windows 2003 Server.

Every day I get the message: "The master browser has
received a server announcement from the computer..." each
hour the system is on. It shows as a critical error yet
appears to be causing no difficulty. I've reattached it
to the network several times to no avail using Windows
2003 local computer function.

Any ideas?

You can prevent an workstation from trying to become a master browser
with a registry change.

HKLM|System|CurrentControlSet|Services|Browser|Par ameters

Set IsDomainBrowser to false . To prevent it even being a backup
browser, set MaintainServerList to No .
