What I found I had to do was remove the computer from the
domain(server1.local) and add it to another domain
(server2). Log off the computer and back on to the other
other domain(server2), change the domain back to the first
one (server1.local), reboot the computer and log back into
the domain (server1.local) I was then able to see all the
shared folders.
I waited 24 hours so see if it would keep everything and
NO IT DID NOT. So I think the problem lies in 2003.

I am not sure if what I did was fully what I wanted but I have access to my
network files.
I gave anonymous access in the GOP for everyone. Can anyone give me some
feedback about this? Everything is on LAN/WAN that is behind a firewall.

Thanks

99% of failure to login to the domain is usually traceable to DNS not
pointing to the Domain Controller. DCDIAG is a good place to start.

Network shares in SBS 2003 are quirky...it seems the best way to set them up
is use the Shares (local) tab in the Server Manager utility.
