xp to 98 internet sharing

I have one computer with win98 and other with XP Pro with ADSL internet via
a SpeedTouch

usb modem.
They are connected with a serial cable and I can share folders in Windows
but I can't share

the internet connection. Can you help me?

Do you have network cards in the PC's?
it would make life very simple

ICS will not share an Internet connection via a serial cable. You must use
network cards and an Ethernet network to share the connection.
