I am attempting to tie my new XP Home computer to one
using Win 98. I have been able to establish both on a
home network, but when I try to access the files in the
Win 98 computer from the XP computer I get a message that
the files are not accessible, and to contact the
administrator to see if you have access permission.

I cannot even access the Win 98 files from the Win 98
system if I go through the Network.

On the Win 98 computer I apparently cannot access the
computer across the network unless there is a "Remote
Administrator" designated. There is no Remote
Administrator shown for this computer. When I go to
the "Passwords Properties Dialog" box there should be a
way of adding a name for a Remote Administrator, but on
my computer there is no "Add" function box. How can I
make the files and disks on my Win 98 system accessible
to the XP computer?
