xircom cem28 network interface card

Hi. I upgraded an old laptop's O/S from Win95 to Win98.
The xircom ccem28 network interface card quit working properly.

I tried all maner of driver uninstalls and updates to no avail.
xircom and elsewhere do not appear to have drivers to support this thing on
win98.
Might someone out there discovered a work-around, a compatible driver set
for this thing?

A new wireless network adapter works just fine, by the way.

ipconfig reports the an assigned static IP ok - 192.168.0.x but it can only
ping itself and none of the other local network hosts, etc.

Thanks

The driver is very common and easy to find. Look here:

Thanks.

I finally got it working with the win95 driver set that I had.
The fix was to set FULL DUPLEX to ALLOW (DISALLOW is the default) in the
win98 network setup.
Odd thing that, since it was also set to auto-detect and it runs at
half-duplex.
