hi group,

I would like to start several applications over the x protocol on my
worksstation.
My workstation is a redhat AS4 and the other machine is SuSE 9.3
So if I tried to start lets say xmms as normal user..nothing
appears....but when I start xmms as root...all works fine.
I also do on the suse system :
DISPLAY=<ip redhat>:0.0
export DISPLAY

and on my system (redhat) I do :
xhost +<suse ip address>

The firewall on both sides are disabled

any help for me ?

thx
dennis
